Hello, my name is Malka and I'm learning Japanese. I've just started, so I'm only a beginner, and I am learning the language because I am interested in the culture and I may study abroad. I hope to improve my vocabulary, grammar, conversationa l skills, and writing. I have lots of free time so I'm willing to dedicate a lot of my time to learning the language and honing my skills. I am a beginner at Japanese, I do know mostly hirigana.
I' ve always wanted to learn Japanese but never fully acted on it because I fear self-teaching will only leave me with a poor understanding of proper speech, I also think think having a knowledge of a second language would be a useful life and career skill, and thirdly I would like to learn as much as I can before I work-holiday in Japan in about 6+ months.
I don't know any Japanese so I don't think I have an area I need to improve yet, I am also looking to learn many Kanjis before my trip as I would like to at least be able to read some things.
Between work and school I'm willing to dedicate as much time as you can provide, my wallet can provide and my mind can take.
Caring and patient since I'm a klutz, As much care as possible in making sure I won't be just hearing What? over and over when I try and speak in Japan, and able to provide me with enough work as I need.
