I am a beginner learning japanese. I have decided that I want to learn Japanese, but our highschool doesn't offer it. I am in 8th grade, and i will be chosing classes soon for next year. If i don't get a good way to learn japanese, i may be forced to take spanish or french (which i HATE). So, i am just looking for a good way to learn it away from school and still be able so use it for college credit.

I am a begginer and I am interested in learning foreign languages. I have never taken any classes, but I would like to learn Korean and Japanese. I would actually like to start by learning Korean first. I try to do so research but I had no luck finding a place that I can go too. I want to learn these languages because I the find both cultures really facinating such as the people and cultures. I want to become a Register Nurse so I want to learn many languages while I'm still young. I'm actually hoping that if I like one the two countries the most I might move to one of them.

I have to start out by saying; I'm a beginner at the Japanese language. This is odd because I have always wanted to learn the language. I'm finally looking at starting now because of two reasons:
1) I believe it will help in my work. I'm starting to do more international sales and well...the more you know the better you are.
2) More over, and a lot closer to my heart. My wife, two friends, and I are going to Japan in two years!!! This has been my life dream since before I can remember. I would love to be able to hold conversations with people I meet, and help my wife and friends when in Tokyo.
This is something that I'm going to be completely dedicated to. It is up to my teacher as to the amount of time I should dedicate myself to.
