I have picked up a little Portuguese over the years but I want to be fluent. I would consider myself a complete begginer as I have never had any formal learning.
I am mostly interested in Portuguese because I find myself around Brazilians from time to time. I have trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 1999 and that is where I have picked up a few words.
I am willing to dedicate the amount of time the teacher felt I needed in order to become fluent and confident in speaking Portuguese.
I am looking for a teacher who has also been a student and knows what a student goes through to speak another language.

I have a burning desire to learn Farsi and am a complete beginnner. I am half Iranian and want to continue using the language with my family and pass it on to my children in the future.
