I have lived in East Africa for almost half my life and although it may be strange that I didn't pick up any language there I now want to learn as I may move back in the future and I just really miss it and it would assist me in better communicating with friends. Beginner, for all languages but I want to learn Swahili and Lugandan before even attempting the others. I wish to dedicate at least 2 hours a week for one language. 3 hours if its possible. I don't know what to look for in a teacher except the fact that they would really want me to excel as much as possible by helping and guiding me.

I am going to learn Swahili because it is who I am,for years i have been disconnected to a language thats of my true kulture and its important for me to recoonect with my roots.This would be my first time as a beginner.I have to develop strength in all areas of the Swahili language to start off I would like to focus on grammar and gradually learn conversation. I would like to learn this language on a weekends for and dedicate 3 hours for each day.I am looking for great quality and the teacher would have to be a native from the country.
