Hi my name is Ashley and i am really interested in learning Polish. My boyfriend is Polish and though his family speaks great English, i would love to be able to converse with them and understanding everything they say. i have no previous experience with speaking Polish besides the few words i have learned from my boyfriend. i would be a beginner in your class. due to work, i know that i would not be able to meet in person every day but i would love to communicate every day, whether it be in person or online through skype. i live in Itasca, Illinois but work in Buffalo Grove, Illinois so if we met in person i would be able to meet somewhere around those areas. i am also open to classes on the weekends (saturdays and sundays) for maybe 1-2 hours a day? I'd love to learn as much as i can during each class. i hope we can work out days and times either online or in person. thank you so much.

My husband is Polish and I would like to learn Polish to communicate with his family and friends. I am at a beginners level - I can carry on some basic conversation but I would still need an overview of grammar and of course conversation and vocabulary. I recently completed Pimsleur's beginners polish and am now doing Michel Thomas's Polish foundation course. However, I feel I have more time now than I will in the coming years and so would really like to get a solid foundation of Polish and think I need personal or small group lessons to achieve that goal. I can dedicate 2 hours a week to class time (in one session). I'm looking for a patient native Polish speaker and other than that, have no concrete specification s.

My family is originally from Poland and I am 3rd generation American. The Polish speakers in my family have since passed away. Before my grandfather died I promised him I would learn the language but I put it off for about 10 years. So...I know a few words in Polish but that's it. My proficiency level is beginner. I cannot afford weekly lessons but would like to have at least two lessons a month with study materials in between.

I am a Registered Nurse in Chicago. I would like to learn Spanish and Polish to advance my career- my goal is to work in a Chicago hospital that serves low income and diverse populations. My specialty is Obstetrics/La bor and Delivery.
I grew up bilingual: English and Ukrainian. I can understand a lot of Polish simply because the two languages can be similar, but I am a beginner.
I took 3 years of Spanish in high school, but that was over 10 years ago. My pronunciation is very good, but I would like to become proficient in Spanish conversationa lly as well as medically. I would consider myself a beginner, but perhaps more of an advanced beginner.
I am looking to take private tutoring once a week or every other week, in person, and supplement over the internet/phon e if needed. I am willing to spend several hours a week practicing these languages, because I would like to feature them on my resume as soon as possible. I am willing to travel to the Chicago suburbs to meet in person.
