I am a beginner , having no real or formal traing in speaking a second language. I would like to meet with some one who has time and patince to deal with a first timer. I have my bachelors degree from Texas A&M University in Spanish but yet neve studued abroad. My level of Spanish is intermediate but I am needed to be advanced in order to pass the Texas teacher certification . I am looking for weekly lessons over the next several months to build confidence in my speaking as well as touch up on some very important grammar issues. Hello,
I found your listing on this site as being a Tamil teacher and am very interested in taking classes.
I am a first year medical student at UT Southwestern in Dallas and am learning Tamil in order to attempt to open a health clinic in a small rural village in Tamil Nadu very near Madurai. I would like to have a good command of Tamil before going there this upcoming summer.
Bo th of my parents are immigrants to the U.S. from Madras. I am a native Tamil speaker and used to speak when I was a child but have forgotten in the English schooling process. I can still understand when my parents speak to me but have trouble constructing sentences.
If you could help me learn (or regain) this ability, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
