I am a beginner who has always loved hearing the Italian language. I have learned some Spanish just because I live in Texas. I do not love Spagnolo--at all, never have and probably will only learn it in the future for business reasons only.
I try to learn Italian by visual references, and I think this is a great way to increase my familiarity with the vocabulary, but does not help my learning of the language as much as more proactive approaches, like speaking it to someone, and having someone monitoring my progression in the language. I need monitoring because studying a language leisurely is not a habit I have formed yet, but would do so in a heartbeat for Italian.
I want to learn this language for my self-fulfillm ent and enjoyment.
I would only do language lessons once to twice a week, for I am a discus thrower practicing here in Dallas now, I am in an art academy, and I am also a power-lifter. Plus I am still in college, as a late freshman, at this time.
I am looking for a person who is passionate about their language, for I am passionate about Italian, and thus want equal footing. I do not need a motivating presence for I am already highly motivated for this language. I just need someone is strict yet jubilant.
As an athlete, I have had many private coaches, and thus I now how to work with my teacher for a common goal.

Beginner - French. I need to learn the language for my career and graduate education. I am willing to dedicate 1 days per week for six months. I'd like to learn in a group of 2 to 3 students. I'm looking for a patient teacher with atleast 10 years experience teaching a foreign language to adult learners.
I am also interested in learning Portuguese and/or Wolof (Senegal).
