Beginner. Just got back from Dong Guan City and desire to learn Mandarin - will be traveling back to China often. Also have a 6 year old who I would love to start learning Mandarin as well. I have very little Spanish knowledge that I have picked up through socializing with others locally. I hope to learn to become fluent in social situations. I am not seeking to learn extraneous information that is non-practical in nature. I wish to learn so I may interact more freely with others who only speak Spanish.
