I studied Japanese for two years at Edinburgh University but due to financial problems and my own inability to learn I decided to leave.
I have forgotten a great deal of what I learned but wish deeply to learn japanese.
I am learning Japanese as I wish to live and work in japan someday, preferably as soon as possible. And for my on interest, I have always been deeply fascinted by Japan, it's culture and language.
Although my strongest point has to be pronunciation of words I deeply lack in all other aspects. I have no clear understanding of how grammar works, I am not at conversation lvl in japanese and am reteching myself the basics starting with Hiragana using my text books from University.
I would like to dedicate as much time as both myself and the tutor can spare. I am very serious about learning japanese as quickly and accurately as possible.
Ho wever this may be difficult because of financial problems. Depending on tuition cost I would like to atleast have 1 or 2 sessions a week of 1 hour each.
I would like to find a tutor who is able to adapt to my inability to learn languages and find a solution most fitting.
I am quite shy and so an understanding tutor would be most important.
I am more than willing to travel in order to meet privately for tuition as I understand my current residence is somewhat difficult to find and not very well known.
