I would consider myself a high-intermed iate or low-advanced Spanish speaker. I've received a masters degree in bilingual education, thus some classes were taught entirely in Spanish and I didn't have problems. I've also studied two summers at language schools in Mexico. I am learning Spanish because I've always had the desire to learn this beautiful language. Additionally, it helps me in my career as an ESL teacher. I believe I need particular help in conversation, especially with the advanced tenses. I am willing to dedicate a couple of hours a couple of times a week if necessary to learning. This is about all that I can do as I have a very busy schedule except during the summer. At that time, I'm able to offer a short time each day, if necessary. I am looking for a native-speake r teacher. One who is patient and one who has a special knack for making relatively shy students like myself comfortable in speaking with native speakers.

I am writing in regards to learning the Portuguese language. My proficiency is at a beginner level. I want to have the ability to speak, read and write Portuguese fluently without having to think in English first. I am very serious and dedicated to learning Portuguese. I would like to dedicate 2 classes a week to Portuguese.
