I am at the beginners level. I have taken couple of semesters of Japanese but it was over a year ago. I love the language and i would like to speak it as a second language. I would like to spend more time with conversationa l Japanese just to get back into the flow of things. I would like to spend most of my free time after work learning. I have always wanted to learn another language, Japanese just seems like a good idea, because I am interested in the Japanese culture and would like to travel, if not live there one day. I have no back ground at all with Japanese. Although, I would be determined to learn this language and I am rather ambitous, plus a good student, given the right teacher. To have a teacher whose skills are advanced with the Japanese language would be best. When the teacher is confident in what they do, the student always seems to be more interested in the subject. Japanese does not have to be their native tounge, but if the teacher was to go to Japan, they could fit in just as if they had grown up there. Lessons times can not be to overbearing, being that I will have a full time job and taking two internet courses through Colorado Mountain College. Once or twice a week for one or two hours would be alright, as far as lesson plans are concerned, I should leave that to the teacher, homework is a must.

I am 13 yrs old, I would like to become Tri-lingual. I am in the study of Spanish, my native language is English. I would like to learn Japanese so that I can go there without getting lost, confused, or helpless.If I learn Japanese I plan to go there and teach English for a while or just to visit. I am a beginner, I have no experience with Japanese at all. I need particular inprovment in my grammer, conversation, and everything else. I will dedicate as much time as I can it does not matter. I would like a tutor to know how to make lessons fun while helping me to learn the language!!I hope that someone will contact me as soon as possible so that I can move on with the pursuit of learning Japanese.

W hy I am learning this language- I am planning for a
foreign exchange student program and want to speak the language as best as possible
A reas I need improvement in- all. I have never studied this at all except extreme basics (hello, good-bye, etc.)

Hello I recently returned to America after living in Japan for 2 years. I wish to keep my language skills. My language proficiency is either low intermediate or advanced beginner. I have passed level 3 of the Nihongo Noryoku Shiken. I may return to live in Japan some day and I need to stay current with the language. I need practice speaking as I can study Kanji on my own. Ideally I would like to have at least two hours of class a week. I am willing to do homework outside of class. I am looking for a native Japanese speaker who is patient and kind.
