I am moving to Europe to be with my fiance who is Roman and i want to learn the basics in order to better be able to communicate with his family and friends. He has tried to teach me some, but it is hard to understand over and international phone call. I will be a beginner, though I took French in high school and can speak a bit of Spanish from growing up in West Texas.

I have studied French for a total of 1 year (one semester of which I learned while I was living and studying in Paris). Spanish was my minor in college and for these reasons I am not a true beginner of the French language and I have another basis of French acquisition through knowledge of another Latin-based language.
I will be moving to Geneva in the Fall and would like to learn as much French as possible and as soon as possible. My summer will be devoted to preparing for my move to Switzerland; as a result, I can devote a lot of time to my lessons and learning French.
I am looking for a French teacher who can challenge me, find my deficiencies and help me with them. Build my knowledge base and help me to improve my pronunciation and communication al skills.
