Me and my friend are in Beijing for 6 months and want to find a chinese teacher who can teach us at our home. If the location of the school is no more than 15 minutes from our appartment we can also go there. Since we have different levels we would like to have lessons separetly.
Level: my level is upper beginning and my friends level is intermediate. Our purpose is career development.

I am an English professor working in Zhengzhou. Over winter break I will be taking a three week intensive course in Chinese with a school in Shanghai. I will be returning to Zhengzhou in February. I don't know what proficiency level I will be at but I would like to assume higher than beginner. I want to learn Chinese for two reasons: a) to be able to speak with the people I interact with on a daily basis (taxi drivers, store owners, waiters, etc...). b) as a tool for my future career, hopefully in International Banking.
I would be willing to dedicate between 2-6 hours a week to learning Chinese depending on expense, travel distance, flexibility, etc... I am looking for a teacher, not a friend, someone who will push me to study and challenge me.
