I am learning tagalog for the reason of me being half filipino and knowing little of the language. Also I have a daughter who is raised in the Philippines and is speaking the language fluently. I would like to be able to converse with her without having someone translate what is being said to me. The area of improvement would be the entire language granted I do know quite a bit if not a lot from simply speaking to my father before he passed. depending on how the lesson is taught, I’m willing to dedicate quite a bit of time to learn the language. the qualities I am looking for in my teacher is someone with patience seeing how I do have a small comprehension issue, so it takes more than once to get a grasp of the proper usage of the language .
