I want to learn Portuguese because my dad is Portuguese and did not teach me growing up. I feel this is a loss of heritage. I have been able to learn a little bit from visiting Portugal twice and sometimes speaking to family members and friends but would still consider myself a beginner. I would love to become more fluent and be able to hold a conversation with someone. I am willing to attend lessons every week depending on the price and I would prefer a native portuguese woman as my teacher if possible.
