I am a beginner in Russian. My best friend is a exchange student from Russia. I have a vKontakte and talk to other Russians through myspace and ICQ. I am currently reading through Russian for Dummies but it is all transliterate d and I would like to learn Russian in Cyrillic, not necessarily through the English alphabet. I can transliterate anything and I understand a few conversation starters and a few words other than that. I have a problem thinking in Russian. I need someone that lives near Dallas, TX. I live in Flower Mound which is about 30 minutes away north, closer to Denton. I need someone who is consistent and a good patient teacher. My friend is leaving at the end of June and I would like to communicate with him and his family. Starting next summer I am going to meet him in Russia. So on this note, I need to start right away so I can learn pretty fluent Russian within the next 10 or so months. Please help me, I perfer this to be relatively cheap since I would like to learn as much as I can. Thank you.

I am trying to better my French, I can speak and read quite a bit but need someone to help guide and push me. I like the fact you have learned many languages, I speak Spanish and Portugues well and agree that the differences and similarities can help learn. I would like to better my French mainly for work but for other reasons as well. I would like to have one or two lessons a week depending on price. I am a highly motivated student and am currently working on my Masters in modern languages in at UTA. I look forward to hearing from you.

I AM WRITING THIS ON BEHALF OF MY BOYFRIEND. HE WENT TO SEVERAL SESSIONS IN AN INSTITUTE BUT THIS DID NOT WORK WITH HIM. HE DID NOT LIKE IT BECAUSE OTHERS STUDENTS SPEND MOST OF THE TIME TALKING AND IN REALITY HE DID NOT LEARN MUCH. HE WORKS WITH THE MAJORITY OF CO-WORKERS BEING HISPANIC. HE MAINLY UNDERSTANDS TERMS DIRECTLY RELATED WITH HIS JOB SINCE HE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT KNOWS SOME ENGLISH AND SPEAKS WITH THE ARCHITECTS AND HOME BUILDERS. HE WANTS TO LEARN ENGLISH TO BETTER HIMSELF AND TO GET HIS GED, FUTURE CAREER ADVANCEMENT, AS WELL. NEEDS HELP IN GRAMMAR, CONVERSATION, WRITING AND PRONUNCIATION . WANTS TO DEDICATE BETWEEN 2-3 HOURS DAILY IF POSSIBLE. TO HAVE PATIENCE AND EXPLAIN THOROUGHLY THE LANGUAGE.

I realize that to become proficient in any language, I will need a teacher/tutor . I want to learn Italian because I would like to start churches in several key cities in Italy and need to learn some basic language skills. I no zero Italian, but have a Ph.D. in communication s so I believe I can learn quickly. I am 62 years old and have my own business as I travel and speak for a living. I was formally a pastor for 13 years and a university professor. I would like to take an hourly lesson per week and study in between. I can start immediately.
