We are 3 French ladies in Singapore for the next 6 months (could be a year). As we are on social visit visa we would like to do something and learn Chinese Mandarin.
We haven't got any idea of Chinese. We would like to be able to speak the day to day Chinese in case we will be transfered one day to China.
As we are not working we do have plenty of time, but we don't have plenty of money as our husband are studying in Singapore in an MBA school. Numbers of hours per week to be discussed
We are looking in having the possibility to have a teacher coming over to our house, he/she must understand and speak well english and to be comprehensive as we are all French so English is our second language.

I have started several courses of Mandarin but because of my traveling schedule I never retained a lot. I hope to find a teacher who can tutor me one on one. Teacher also should not mind if I cancel because my traveling sometimes comes up out of nowhwere.
I would like to be able to have small conversation with customer and friends. I also would like to learn the characterset as well
