I desire to learn Spanish, because I recently got a job at an Dallas ISD school that is bilingual. I am teaching k-2nd graders who know very little English and I would like to be able to explain things to them in Spanish as well as be able to communicate with their parents.
I have taken five years on Spanish in middle and high school (about 6 years ago). However, I would consider myself on a scale of 1-10 (10 being fluent) a 3. I know a lot would come back to me though.
I need improvement in all areas.
I can devote at much as an hour a day.
I am looking for a tutor who will be able to take me where I am and help improve my weaknesses, so that I may be able to effectively communicate with students' parents as well as teach young children in Spanish when necessary.

I was born and raised in New York City but come from a Latin Family (Colombia, South America). My first language is Spanish however, I did not go to school for Spanish it was just the household language(conv ersational). I did of course go to school here in the States so I'm fluent in English. I want to become an Interpreter and must be proficient in both languages and don't feel as confident in Spanish because of my limited grammar skills. I need a tutor to see what grade level I'm in so I could start Interpreting as soon as possible.

Hello,
I would like to improve my Spanish skills. I have a good basic understanding of the language. My mother is from Mexico City and I have studied Spanish in high school and college. The problem that I have is that I don't get the practice speaking and I have problems with verb conjugation.
