I would like to learn Chinese for business purposes. I have no previous knowledge of this language. I am a senior in college and would like private lessons to fit my schedule, which would probably be afternoons and maybe weekends. I would like to have intensive training.
I am looking for someone that is a native speaker and has business background as well, to help me with the business lingo in particular.

I work with a lot of people that speak only Mandarin Chinese and I have picked up a few basic expressions; however, I am determined to become fluent. I would like to spend a few hours a week with a teacher and I can dedicate a few hours on my own each week. I am more interested in speaking and understanding the language than being able to read or write it. I am from Albany Ny and would be willing to travel up to two hours.

My daughter is interested in becoming fluent in Mandarin Chinese. She has taken lessons for 1 and 1/2 years. She is now 11 years old and has a basic level of understanding . We need an instructor who is able to take her through the process of becoming fluent by setting goals for each step and measureing her progress to make sure that material is understood. We are looking for a native speaking teacher who is good with teaching children and teaches with enthusiam as well as makes it fun. We are also looking for a teacher who lives in Atlanta and will come to her school, or our home. We may be able to come to the teachers location if it is not too far from school, or home during the week day. We are also open to getting lessons on the weekends. We are interested in taking lessons twice a week. She is very interested in the Chinese culture ans loves languages. My daughter is a good student and with the right teacher she will become fluent someday.
