| Description |
Hello,
I recently got married to a Moroccan man and went to Morocco with him. I am back in America and I would love to learn Moroccan Arabic but that might be a little too hard for me to try right now. I thought I would start of slow and learn French before Moroccan seeing how everyone speaks French. My mother in-law can speak a little English and I can speak very few words in Arabic but I really would like to carry on a normal conversation with her and the rest of my new family. I am a beginner and I only know a couple of words in French.
Th ank you, Emily

I have used Spanish in a medical setting and German in conversation. I would like to improve both my Spanish (for professional and personal reasons) and German. I would also like to learn correct pronunciation s for words I sing when I record music. (I sing songs in Italian, Spanish, and French.) At this time I would like to focus more of my time on learning Swedish, as I have a longtime friend from Sweden (originally from Kariskoga, now living in Gothenberg) that I plan to visit soon. He and I have spoken of starting a life together, and learning the language could only help. I would rather show some initiative to learn a bit first instead of expecting him to teach me everything I need to know about the Swedish language and culture. I would like to become proficient in conversationa l Swedish in the span of a couple of months. I am looking for a native Swedish speaker, if possible, since I also want to understand Swedish culture, especially when it comes to courtship, dating, and religion.

I am wanting to learn Portuguese, because it will be helpful in the career I am pursuing. I would basically be starting from scratch. I would prefer a teacher who is a native speaker (but not really require it). I am able to dedicate time during the day.

| Description |
I'm a sophomore and I am in French III. I speak English, very good French, some basic Spanish, and very little German and Romanian, as well as bits of about 27 other languages. I would like to take up Romanian lessons, but they are very rare in Dallas. I'm part Romanian along w/ 10 other cultures. It's a beautiful language! I want to learn it to be in touch with my heritage and homeland when I visit, as well as studying abroad (art/anthropo logy/cultures) . Plus, languages are good for international work and getting better jobs as well as giving and earning respect for foreign culture:)
I would like a teacher that is positive and outgoing; no one too dull or serious.
I would go to Romanian classes everyday if I could, but It might only work out a few days a week or only on weekends, my schoolwork is very time-consumin g. However, during Summer vacation I would probably take classes about every day or so:)
My level in Romanian language is definitely beginner; I only know the basics-greeti ngs/intros/num bers/colours/a nimals/days of the week and that's about it; I would love to learn more! :D
