Hi,
I'm a high school senior in Northern Virginia and I am interested in beginning Mandarin. I have many friends who speak Mandarin, and they really have gotten me interested in learning the language. Because I go to a specialized magnet high school, my time is somewhat limited and my schedule somewhat rigid, but I am looking to continue studies through the summer. If you have space, could you please contact me about logistics (i.e. where you tutor, your expectations, your rates, etc.).

W hy Learn: I have lived in Hong Kong and have a reputation as a strong international marketer. However, despite my experience in Asia, I do not have command of the Chinese language
A reas: I am interested in conversationa l Chinese. Typically I have a translator with for business transactions. However, I would like to be able to do some basic conversing while overseas.
Time: I can dedicate 2 hours a week at least, but probably not more than 4 hours a week.
Qual ities: Ideally, someone who also understands the business climate of China, so that the conversationa l language I learn is appropriate.
