I spent 6 months as a visiting scholar at Leiden University before moving to Tokyo last March to continue with my research. While in the Netherlands, I completed Levels A1 and A2 of Dutch language instruction. I am fluent in German, so I am able to read Dutch fairly easily (i.e. newspapers and novels), but I would like to improve my conversationa l ability. Ideally, I would like a lesson once a week. I am looking for an experienced teacher willing to focus on developing my speaking and listening skills.

I want to learn dutch well specially the grammar for the preparation of my MVV exam this coming month of May 2015.
My proficiency is average I guess, because I have read my books (Naar Nederland)alr eady for almost a year now and able to speak basic dutch. I understand dutch through written or reading subtitles in television but have some difficulties in understanding when someone is actually talking at me unless the words are already familiar.
I need time learning in dutch just enough to be ready for my MVV examination. The qualities I am looking or expecting in this lesson and from the teacher is his/her patience to repeat things or difficult parts of the lesson. I hope that I improve more in this school in learning the dutch language. Thank you.
