I have very little knowledge of the Polish language. My grandmother was from Poland, but did not speak the Polish very often. I am planning to go on a trip to Poland in a little over a year, and I would like to be somewhat familiar with the language before hand.

I am a beginner with a strong desire to learn Polish with conversationa l proficiency. I enjoy learning languages of many types and polish would be the first slavic language I would attempt. I am receptive to learning language with the right amount of exposure (music, movies, literature, & conversation) and information. I look forward to this new challange.

I work in tourist area. Every summer we get a bunch of Polish students to work w/ us. I have become close to some of them. And now I plan on visiting Poland. I would like to be able to speak w/ them in their own language. I would need a beginners course. And I would like to find some evening classes or tutoring.
