I am a beginner in Mandarin Chinese. I would like to learn it because I believe languages are keys to discover the culture of a country. I know nothing about Chinese culture but it is ancient and very rich. I hope learning Mandarin Chinese will help me discover it.
After hard work and lot of practice I would like to be in a position to read and watch films in Chinese. I can dedicate 2 hours per week for a telephone lesson plus the time required to do teh homework.
The teacher I am looking for should not hesitate to correct me straight away and, whenever possible, add the cultural context of what we are working on. Once I have reached a decent level I would like to know which Chinese exams are avialable and attempt to pass them to give value to my learning.

I have been learning Mandarin Chinese for the last 6 months.I have taken my second level exam. However, I now need a conversation partner and teacher to help me advance. I shall be in Paris for the next month learning French and I would like to have grammar and conversation lessons aswell as characters in Paris.
