I am beginner in Mandarin, Chinese. I would like to learn Mandarin because I have always had an appreciation for the language and culture of China since I was a kid. I would like for my lessons to have a conversationa l approach, but I would also like to learn how to write the Kanjis. I would like to have two or three lessons per week, but it would leave the frequency up to the instructor. I am looking for an instructor who really enjoys teaching Chinese.

Dear Ms. Liu,
I saw your ad for Chinese (Mandarin) lessons and I am greatly interested in studying Chinese. Currently, I am at a Beginer to Intermediate level with Japanese, and I am looking to also study Chinese.
I wish to learn both languages for career advancement as well as becasue these languages interest me greatly. I know how to speak Spanish.
I wish to dedicate about 3 evenings of the week and/or weekends to study. This ad is the one that is the closest to me thus far.
I wish to advance in all aspects (Grammer, Punctuation, Reading, Writing, Conversation) of the Chinese language. I am also currently looking to continue studying Japanese.
I look for well organized lessons, where I may be able to practice my conversation skills, reading and writing, and pronounciatio n. I hope to find a teacher that is throughly knowledgeable and patient with me. Also, a teacher that could give insight about business context, and cultural context of Chinese. Please contact me. I have lived in Taiwan for one year and a half. I taught English to students there and had to learn a significant amount of Chinese to communicate with them. I am very serious about learning both spoken and written Chinese, but I need practice with my speaking. I am also a law student, and I hope to practice law international ly--hence my desire to learn Chinese. I would like to meet once or twice a week, at least two hours each time.
