I happens to be working in Beijing, China. I am a Malaysian chinese and I am english educated.
I would like to pick up two languages e.g. spanish and french by starting off as a new beginner. Would really appreciate that my tutor is good in areas like grammer and conversation as my job needs to communicate with people in regards to the languages that I am learning. I'm a native cantonese speaker born in Hong Kong and with high proficiency in Mandarin and English.
For my personal interest, I want to learn more languages that sound interesting to me. French and Tagalog are the two languages that I am most into. However, I find it hard to learn a language thru books. I believe learning a language thru the communication with a person or a friend would be much more efficient. I'm learn the languages totally out of my personal interest, not really for my work.
If possible, I would spend approximately 2 hours a week to learn the language. I hope that I can learn the languages in a rather lively way instead heavily basing on a book. Also, I hope that thru learning the languages, I can make more friends.
T he private tutors should at least possess a Bachelor degree, preferably related to the language taught. Some experience of teaching the language would be ideal.
