I would love a Burmese Language teacher because I have sponsored a child from Myanmar through World Vision for many years. I would like to visit Myanmar in a year or two or have child come here. I would be willing to work hard and would like one hour lessons once or twice a week. I am a beginner who has tried CD's,but feel I could do better with teacher. The reason why I am learning Chinese is because I have taken Mandarin and Cantonese courses in the past, plus I have lived in Hong Kong for six years. I would really like to keep up with learning both dialects.
I need improvement in grammar and conversation. I would to dedicate at least an hour and a half for learning.
I am looking for a teacher who is patient and creative, that will challenge me and give me some homework. I would also like the teacher to help me a bit with my writing. I can write and read some Chinese.
