Hello. My name is Erika. I am half Korean, half Filipino. My goal is to learn Korean language for my own benefit and to speak to my relatives. I have no real grasp of Korean except reading simple hangul words/names. I am aiming to be proficient in Korean, and I am willing to dedicate a lot of my time to it. For that, I prefer a private one on one tutor rather than traditional classroom settings.
I would prefer my teacher to be a female.

I love Japan and want to pick up my Japanese studies again. I was taking Japanese lessons while in Tokyo for 3 years. I would say I am at a beginner level again as it has been sometime since I had practice and could put it to good use. I would like to reach conversationa l Japanese level. Hello, teachers:
I'm Nick and I'm a law student who wants to learn Japanese so that, this summer (ideally), when I do a study abroad class/interns hip in Japan, I'll be able to communicate at a basic level, at least. I did a semester of college level Japanese at SDSU, but, sadly, have forgotten all but the most basic :( But, I'm a quick learner and REALLY want to focus on speaking/verb al communication .
