My proficiency level is beginner, and a friend of mine who wants to learn with me is intermediate. I want to learn Japanese because I am going to apply to the Jet Program for 2007. My partner is planning on spending a lot of time in Japan while I am there and has been teaching herself Japanese on and off for 5 years. We are both willing to dedicate at least two to three days a week learning. We are both willing to travel to Orlando to learn. We are serious! I would like to learn Japanese. I have very little basic training so far. I would need to learn from the beginning. I would be available Sun-Thurs before 11am and after 10pm. I would be free on Saturdays and Fridays, however, for classes. I am looking to learn Japanese because I intend to move overseas within a few years. I definately need to learn hiragana and katakana, although I have been practicing these on my own. Basic level kanji would be a plus as well.

I want to learn chinese as a very beginner.
I want to learn Chinese for fun as using my extra hours efficiently with learning worth language.
I' m a Korean, so I'm more familiar with writing chinese characters with asian background but I don't know many of them because I didn't use it much.
Basically, I want my lesson to be more focus on chinese conversation like...for future travel.*^^*
I really want to learn like....such as reading and ordering chinese menu in restaurants, asking direction, shopping, or watching chinese movies...or listening chinese songs etc.

I am searching for an experienced Japanese Language tutor/teacher for my son. He was recently enrolled in beginning Japanese classes, but the private school lost the teacher after a couple of months, and my son needs to continue his learning. He will be attending school in Japan as an exchange student from Sept 05 thru Jan 06 and so, needs to be able to understand what is happening in his classes.
We need someone immediately, to either come to our home 4 to 6 hours per week, or we will meet halfway at a place conducive to learning.
