I took Chinese in college for two years. Upon completing this, my Chinese was intermediate, however, this was over five years ago and I have not used the language since. I plan on beginning an international relations masters program in approximately two years. I would like to gain proficiency prior to beginning the program.
I can dedicate approximately 2 hours a day to studying Chinese. I am looking for approximately 1-2 one hour lessons/week to begin with the expectation that this will expand to 3-4 lessons per week once I find the appropriate tutor.

I'm looking for a Chinese teacher that can teach Mandarin to my 6 year old son. I was hoping that he could speak the language one day if I starts him from young. I also want him to learn how to write Chinese characters. We live in Scripps Ranch (92131). We would like the teacher to come by our house around 4pm, Mon, Wed, and Fri. Please let us know the fees. And if the above time is not convenient, please let us know what time/day are available.
