i am a total beginner
i would like to use mandarin to advance my career options and would also like to travel to China.
I would like if possible to learn to read and write.
i would like to start at 1 hour a week and maybe increase from there.

I have been learning Japanese with a serious and qualified native teacher for one year. As I leave my country to study in England from september to june 2009, I need to find a new teacher, native or not, I don't care as long as he or she is serious and enjoys teaching.
I need to improve in every areas since I'm still a beginner with just a little knowledge.
One hour per week or two, it would depend of prices, my schedule and the place of the lessons.
