I am a Christian and have come to Tanzania to start a home for children with a friend here in Dar Es Salaam. I have been here for 8 months, but have not had a teacher, so it has been a slow process.Altho ugh I know a lot of vocabulary, by grammar and conversation is what I need help with.I am prepared to spend one hour a day from Monday to Friday preferably in the afternoon, But morning will be okay.For the whole of May. I will be returning in June for 3 months and want to get a good grounding of the language so that when I return I can communicate better. If I find that the lessons I have in May are really fruitful I may resume the lessons in September.

Hello. I'm a student doctor working in Tanzania for the next three and a half weeks. I have taken a few Swahili lessons in the past but am definitely a beginner. I am interested in working on conversationa l Swahili, not medical Swahili.
I am available for 1.5 to 2 hours a day in the late afternoon/ear ly evening (from 4:30 PM until 7PM) and am interested in meeting daily if possible.
