I am a beginner and because my sister is married to a greek, I am keen to learn the language which I love as I used to spend a lot of time in Crete. I used to understand pretty well and communicate but I have forgotten. I want to learn the grammar and conversation, writting. I would like to have lesson at least once a week (2 or 3 hours). I would like to be in a small group so that there is lot of interaction between the teacher and the students. I would appreciate as well to learn about the history, the culture of the country.

I want to learn Greek from the beginnig; I already know a few simple words and phrases, but I want to be able to speak somewhat fluently. I speak good English, I've lived in London a couple of months. I need to learn Greek since I want to live and work in Athens and I have many friends in Greece, and that's also a big part to why I want to learn. I want to be able to work at the same time as I study, but I want to put a lot of time on my studies. Maybe three to four days a week? I want to have lessons live, in person. I want to learn from scratch, and I want to learn as much as I can. I don't have any requirements really, only that my teacher will speak English so I can ask whatever I need to ask.
I'm planning to come to Athens sometime in September, and I'm planning to stay at least until Christmas, it will probably be longer. My wish is to stay in Athens forever! But I need to see how I like it, and how everything works out for me.
