I am a beginner at Mandarin and I need to learn it for my vocation. I would like to start by learning conversationa l Mandarina nd then move on to written.
I will be travelling to Bangkok for 1 week around the end of May early June as I will be enlisting in a Muay Thai Camp. So I want to spend my free time practising Mandarin, expect to have private lessons.
I am waiting to find my Mandarin Teacher first before deciding on which Muay Thai camp to enlist in and also before deciding my accomodation.

I am interested to learn because I have a six year old who would be attending a chinese school next year. I fear i would not be able to help him with his studies as i know very little chinese both written and oral.
though i have been advised to learn oral, i would like to learn to read as well. at this stage, my son is already asking me how to write this and that chinese words which i am at loss. I know that there can be tuitions for my son, but i am interested to learn as an advancement for myself.
