I am a beginner, at best, in the Japanese language. I wish to learn because I love the culture and languages. I am also considering going to teach English in Japan and want to have a moderate command of the language to allow me to peak over the language barrier. I will dedicate as much time as my teacher will allow and would like a serious tone to the lessons. I am a friendly person, but I also am serious about studying. I'd also like a bit of flexibility to compensate for my ignorance in certain areas of Japanese culture and customs.

My 10 year old son is fascinated with Japanese culture and would love to learn the language. He visits his grandparents in Hawaii every summer and is dying to see Japan. I'm hoping to find someone to tutor him who is good with children, available maybe once a week for an hour lesson and is affordable!!

Beginner. I work with a Japanese company and would like to be able to understand more of the language. Most employee's are very english proficient, many visitors are not. I would like to have simple conversations with them. A once a week class would be nice.
