I am learning Mandarin to attain academic fluency. I am moving to mainland China or Taiwan in the fall, so I would like to maintain my Chinese before then.
I have had 3 college years of Mandarin, with one of those years spent abroad.
I need particular improvement in spoken sentence structures.
I am looking to spend a few hours on the weekend with a tutor, but I would work on my Chinese during the week.

I am as green as can be in this area. I have absolutely no knowledge of the Chinese language other than it being Chinese!
My primary reason for wanting to learn to speak Chinese is to broaden my employment opportunities . I would like to be a translator for business. On a personal level I also have a desire to broaden my horizons and learn more about Chinese culture.
I work quite a bit but I think I would be able to dedicate 12 - 16 hours a week between classroom and study.
I want someone who can teach patiently and thouroughly. passionately and systematic.
