I took 3 years of spoken and written Mandarin in college. I am looking to continue learning. I have already begun studying mandarin for 1 semester at xiamen university in China. I already have materials that I want to review/contin ue and I am looking for a language instructor who can guide me through the lessons. I want to learn Mandarin because I am interested in learning the language and I just want to be better at it. I am a beginner, though I lived in Taiwan some years ago and retain a bit of my Mandarin learning. My wife and I are moving to Taipei after we finish law school and would like ot begin our studies now. We were looking for a couple lessons a week. I am a beginner Mandarin speaker, who can read and write a little. I have good pronounciatio n, but poor memory. I am learning Mandarin because I spent time in China and I love the language. I would like to study all areas, like grammar, reading and writing. However, I get very flustered when I'm attempting to talk to a native Mandarin speaker and am too embarrassed to talk. I would like to dedicate and hour a week to studying Chinese with a tutor. I would like planned lessons with clear objectives set out for me from the beginning of the lessons. I would like a teacher who is personable and fun.Thank you
