I have just completed two weeks of intensive beginner Brazlian Portuguese, in Brazil. I am learning primarily for business, in Brazil. Given I am only an early beginner, I need advancement in all areas, but my weakest area is definitely listening (with understanding ) and speaking, so this needs the most strengthening . Earlier, I also reached the beginner-inte rmediate level of Spanish, at least in terms of reading, writing and speaking; this has both helped and hindered my progress. I would like to have classes of about 1.5 hours each, twice a week, mainly to try and consolidate what I have learned to this point. Teacher qualities: disciplined, patient, minimal or zero English in lessons, flexible (I travel oa lot), native Brazilian Portuguese speaker (requirement) . I am familiar with the Berlitz method of teaching (which I like) and now also with another more-or-less similar style of school in Brazil (also OK, but perhaps lacking in sufficient discipline/re petition for me). My preference would be for lessons at my office (North Vancouver), but this could be negotiable.

I have some knowledge about grammer. I would be about elimentary: level 3.
I would like to improve/learn both conversation as well as grammer.
