I would like to learn Mandarin for daily conversation. I am of Chinese origin, and grew up speaking Cantonese, although I have very limited reading and writing abilities. I would like a teacher with a flexible schedule and ability to meet in downtown Boston; weekends are best although I travel frequently on weekends. I would like a fun, patient modern teacher for 1-2 hours a week

I am a beginner and have been told I have good pronounciatio n, but have hard time retaining.
I am learning Chinese because I am crazy in love with, and have been in love with a Chinese woman, but her family does not speak english and lets just say they don't want to learn. My lady is not what you call a teacher either.
