My wife and I want to enroll our two children in Chinese lessons. Our daughter Clarissa is almost 6 and our son Kyle is 9 years old. They are both very well behaved and mature for their ages. Neither have any prior lessons in Chinese but they want to learn the language. Kyle is an accomplished piano player and his teacher is from China. Clarissa is also excited to learn Chinese and is currently studying Kungfu and her Sifu is a disciple from the Shaolin Temple of Songshan. I have been living in Shanghai for the last 4 years and have reached a basic day to day conversationa l level in Mandarin and Shanghai but there are many gaps in my knowledge and want to get some formal tutoring. I now live back in Wales with a view to returning to China and want to improve my Chinese language skills.I do not necessary want to read and write Chinese though that would be helpful but I am most interested in learning more vocabulary and getting the tones / pronunciation right.
