I WANT AN INSTRUCTOR WHO IS FOCUSED ON HELPING ME TO BE ABLE TO CONVERSATE IN ANY SITUATION, BE IT TRAVELING OR JUST SOCIALIZING. I WANT TO UNDERSTAND SENTENCE COMPOSITION AND STRUCTURE. I WOULD LIKE TO START ASAP. I PLAN TO ATTEND CLASS ONE DAY A WEEK OR MORE DEPENDING ON THE COST. I AM VERY EAGER AND VERY INTERESTED. MY NEXT LANGUAGE TO LEARN WILL BE SPANISH.

I certainly am a beginner; I have never been exposed to Chinese. Since I plan to take it this fall during my freshman year of college at the University of Texas at Austin I would like to get a jump-start on learning Chinese. I am looking for an introduction to the language, both spoken and written, and a patient, enthusiastic teacher who has a passion for Chinese.

I work for a large construction company and handle most of the supervision on the jobs. Our company employs alot of hispanic workers. I really need an aggressive approach to learning spanish. I want to be proficient in spanish by the end of the year. I know that the grammactical side of learning a new language is important, but my main focus is on learning to communicate proficiently with the hispanic workers as fast as possible. I am an absolute beginner. I have always wanted to learn French. I can speak German enough to get around, ask directions, etc., but I never had the opportunity to study French in school.
I am a very visual learner. I found this out when I was taking Spanish lessons years ago in Chicago. It was a strictly aural class, and I needed a visual reference. My German teachers in high school and college were very visual. I like to see the words.
I would like to dedicate 10 hours a week at least to learning the language.
The qualities I need in a teacher and lessons are mainly to cater to my need to see what I am saying.
