I took french when I was in high school, but haven't used it since. I have always wanted to learn to speak fluently, and want to live in France someday, though I want to speak the language well before I go there. I'll probably need review, so I'll start as a beginner. I could dedicate a few hours a week to my studies. I need someone reliable that has structured lessons.

I am interested in learning French. I really just want to learn it for myself as a personal goal. I have visited France many time and would love to be able to become fluent in such a beautiful language. I am almost fluent in Spanish and have taught it in Middle School and High School settings. I think I could pick up French quite quickly if I have the time to spend on it.

My family (husband, 2 children (10 & 8 years old)and I are interested to learn Mandarin.
I have taken Mandarin for a couple of years when I was in Elementary school and my husband has taken 2 semesters of Mandarin in college. My children has learnt some spoken Mandarin through video tapes.
We as a family are determined to learn Mandarin and be proficient in the language both spoken and written so we are willing to invest the time needed to do so.
We are looking for a teacher who has a zeal to teach and impart to us. We hope that he/she can communicate with us
and be patient with us. We are willing to work hard.

My husband and I are interested in taking French because of a potential job transfer to Paris. He took French for three years in high school, but has not spoken it since. I took three years of Spanish in high school and one year in college.
We would love to take a class together but understand if our differences in levels would not make it possible. Our best possible days are Friday, Saturday or Sunday, but a Tuesday or Thursday class after 7:30 p.m. might work.
We would love for our teacher to be personal, not too formal.
