I am an American citizen who was born in Keflavik, Iceland on a military base, which has since then been shut down. I had dual-citizens hip with the United States and Iceland until I turned 18 years of age. I have done a lot of research on Iceland, and I thought that it would be very cool to learn, not only to speak a second language, but for Icelandic to be that language. I have heard that it is one of the hardest languages in the world to learn. However, I do like a challenge and would like to devote a lot of time, as a beginner, to learn the language. In a teacher, I would look for someone who would be able to help me fully learn to speak, read and write the language fluently. I would also like to know more about the culture, so that I could hopefully one day take a trip to the beautiful country again or perhaps even move back to Keflavik or Reykjavik
