I am at about an intermediate level in Japanese. I need to improve my grammar and practice conversation. I am particularly interested in taking my JLPT 2-Kyu test in December, but have a long way to go.
I work two Jobs this summer, but I would like to meet for an hour or two a week.
I am looking for someone who will challenge me, give me direction, and guide my studies.

I am fluent in Tagalog (Filipino), but I am also trying to learn Japanese Language as I would like to visit the country some time, and I like listening to Japanese music and watching Japanese shows. Therefore, I am interested in learning Japanese, that way I wouldn't have to look for translations.
I'd like to become fluent in speaking Japanese. I can read Hiragana and Katakana too.
I'm willing to dedicate 2 to 3 hours of Japanese Language Lessons. So I could learn faster.
Th e qualities I'm looking for in a teacher, is someone who can really teach me the language, and someone who can I can communicate to, openly.
I am also interested in studying Korean, but I'd like to study Japanese first.

I dont have much experience in japanese, but i really want to learn it. its also because i want to move to japan someday(my friend and parents dont really understand why though :P). I am also interested in japanese culture. I am a very quick language learner. I already speak a few: russian(fluen t), tatar(fluent, you probably have never heard of it :)), turkish(no practice for more than a year, so not fluent anymore), english(fluen t), i am also learning spanish right now. And i have very very extremely basic lvl of japanese...
I would like to speak fluent japanese as soon as possible. The fact that the grammar is very similar to my native language(tata r, although my profile says russian, which is second native language, but tatar is dominant) might help me learn it.
I would like to have form 5 to 10 hours of learning a week.
I am not looking for any particular qualities in my teacher.

I am a beginner in Japanese! I want to learn because me and my twin sister are moving to japan next January and i want to have a head start! I want to be able to hold a decent conversation, as well as a little bit of reading, well or as much as i can learn before then. I have been to Japan before so i understand the culture, just not the language! I want a teacher who is able to help me learn common phrases and conversationa l language as well as pronunciation ! I know hw to write in both forms of Kana, and I know a few Kanji. I can make very, very basic sentences, and though I am currently studying the grammar, I think I just just require someone to help me put this together. I am learning Japanese to expand my cultural understanding , and I am going to Japan for a year, thus would like to be able to converse with most.
I am just looking for someone that can take what I have, and just start putting it into conversation, while learning more about the grammar involved. Writing lessons would be a bonus, but not needed.
