I have a personal interest in learning Polish and would like my children to learn as well. I am at the beginner level, but spoke Polish as a child. I am not interested in a 'formal education' but rather more in immersion learning - I have made several attempts to learn the traditional classroom way, and it did not stick. Although I can be very flexible and am certainly open to learning by video conferencing, my ideal scenario would be to have an educator come to my house to teach myself and my two daughters (a 4-year-old and 1-year-old - both VERY well behaved and happy) to speak Polish together informally, in the way children learn to speak a language, as I do not have much time to study (an hour per week at most), but spend plenty of time talking to my children! :) Ideally, the educator will be very good with children and be very patient.

I am a first year student in college in New York City, and am majoring in French and Spanish. I am already fluent in these two languages, and languages and linguistics in its entirety is the most active and passionate interest I have. I have explored many languages, and know a small amount of many other than French and Spanish, yet I have for quite some while genuinely desired to learn another language as well as I have with the first two. I have learned a lot on my own, but I feel that having a teacher would be very beneficial. In Polish, I am a beginner, but I learn very quickly and am very willing to work hard to attain a more advanced level. I would like to dedicate at least an hour a week to lessons.

Greetings!
-I wish to learn Polish to understand my friends in Poland better - they both speak English, but I know to truly know them, I need to speak Polish as well.
-Absol ute Beginner. I speak some German.
- I wish to be able to converse and read Polish.
