I am very much a beginner when it comes to the russian language. Am learning the language for travel purposes and potential for career advancement. Need improvement in all areas. I almost have the alphabet memorized however. Would like to dedicate three to four hours a week. Scheduling will be a little eratic due to my work. Hello My name is Trair Lewinske, and I would like to learn and be proficient in the Russian language.
I recently married a Russian girl and would like to be able to communicate more efficiently with her family back home. She has done her best to teach me, but I feel a more professional approch would be more effective in my learning because I need to learn more about the structure in the language than a list of usefull words. I have some difficulty in pronouciation and look for a new way of learning. I can dedicate 1 or 2 sessions a week but am presently very flexable.

By the time I need assistance I will have finished 2 university Russian language courses. So I could possibly be classified as an intermediate. I really love the Russian language, its culture and history and I plan to travel to Russia one day. I definitley need help with speaking the most, but I would like to find a teacher that would help with all areas of the language. I am looking for a teacher starting in May of 2005, when University is finished. I would like to find a teacher who knows Russian fluently, is ready to be patient with me, and who has some experience teaching or tutoring. But at this point, I havent found any classed within Edmonton during the summer, so anyone who speaks Russian and is willing to devote time will do!!
