I am definitely a beginner - I have gone to Half Price books for old textbooks, a few CDs, but still fairly ignorant. Epecially in pronunciation - I dont want old habits I have to break later.
I am basically learning for my own pleasure, and I am open to time spent - I have a fair amount of free time.
I am looking for a teacher who can meet with me in person, in a group if possible, or privately. I would liek someone with a degree in French/ or has lived in the country. Someone with prior teaching experience.

I am at a beginner level. I took some classes in High school and have visited Germany but I still have alot to learn. I pick up on vocabulary very quickly but speaking it in proper form is still hard and remembering exactly what to say is still a challenge. I'm planning to go to germany in about a month but I'm very interested in learning the language. I prefer live in person lessons (only because I think that will be the best for me).
