Hello, I'm looking to learn Italian, starting from the beginning. I'm a Californian who is temporatily in Texas. I might be moving to Italy in the next year or so. My boyfriend is from Italy and I visited the Tuscany region two weeks ago and loved it! I have a background in Spanish and I will also be starting French lessons next week. I have always wanted to speak several languages and I enjoy experiencing different cultures. I'm under 30, have two BS's, and one MS degree. I consider myself a life long learner. I appreciate structure, organization, and accuracy in lessons, as well as having some fun. I have heard that the dialect varies by region in Italy and want to take that into consideration . I'm a visual learner and will not do well in a program that is purely auditory. I would like to take lessons twice per week. I'm excited to learn Italian and motivated to start as soon as possible!

Hello!
I am seeking a Spanish teacher to help me learn how to speak the language fluently for both personal and professional development purposes.
My proficiency level is equivalent to a Beginner with very minimal exposure to the language. However, I am a very fast learner and am willing to spend the time and patience (and prayers) needed to learn the language.
Because of my volatile schedule during the week, I would ideally like to meet my instructor once a week on either Saturday or Sundays.
I'm looking for an Instructor who has years of experience in teaching Spanish in a one-on-one setting; who is patient and understanding ; and is dedicated to their students.

I am a complete beginner. I have little experience with Chinese, but have began some Chinese study this semester. I am a high school student looking to learn some of the language before I go to college so that I might score higher on the language placement test which would save me time and money (since I plan on minoring in Chinese). I have no time after school, so would need a tutor to come to my school either every day or every other day during my free class (9-10:45 am). Price is no issue, so gas money, time and effort, although they factor into the equation, will be paid for. In a teacher, I look for someone who can apply real life language, not text book language. Obviously it's necessary to learn the rules of grammar and usage, but learning the 'street' language along with the culture is a must. Innovative teaching methods are truly welcome. Above all, I want to have fun in learning a language with Chinese being no exception.
