I am a beginner and am looking to learn the language so that I can communicate with friends and their families in their native language. I would like the most help in conversation because I don't know how often I would need to read or write. I will spend as much time as necessary to become fluent. I am looking for lessons/teach er that will work with me on the proper pronunciation and give real life examples for certain sounds and characteristi cs of the language, ie: different 'c'.

I am a beginner for the Polish language. I have learned other languages and so the structure of language learning is not foreign to me.
I am learning for pleasure (the best reason to pick up any language).
I need help with vocabulary, a little grammar and some conversation. ..mostly vocabulary structure learning to tie to conversationa l topics.
I started learning Polish about 2-3 weeks ago. I spend approximately 2 hours a day average on the language. Sometimes more or less depending on the lesson and exercise I have. I am dedicated to learning this language.
I would like a classroom setting if possible. If classes aren't available I need a teacher who will make me stand on my own two feet with the language because I have a tendency to ask every other word if I am saying it right, etc.

-4 years undergraduate studay at Southern Methodist University (2002-2006) in Dallas,TX under Tatian Zimakova.
-T wo month (170 advanced hrs) at Smolniy Language Institure in St. Petersburg, Russia (Summer 2004)
Prof iciency Level - Intermmediate
Improvemen t is needed mostly in writing and conversation, most likely with more focus on writing (I'm simply better at speaking!)
Teacher preferences: motivated, CANNOT be timid or shy, asks many questions and performs drills until perfection.
I learn and work best in environments where I have to perform. Giving me writing assignments or having me fill out endless workbooks is not my ideal style.
