I wish to learn Japanese and I am at the beginner level. I am learning the language because I love the culture, the people and most of all the food of Japan. I'm sure that after I learn the language it will be an added asset to my resume. I would like to learn the basics of the language so that I am able to converse with any Japanese that I may meet.
I would like to dedicate at least an hour a day so that I am not confused with the new language.
I would like a professional teacher who is well versed with the language and will be able to teach me to become an advance speaker of Japanese.

As of now i am a layman to the Japanese language. I want to learn it for personal interest in a foreign language and also to use it as a career option like teaching or translation. I need to learn the language from scratch as i have no prior exposure to this language. I would like to put in 3 days a week for as many months required to learn. I would like to be taught in a group of 3-4 students, interactive method of learning is what im looking for. Also exposure to the Japanese culture, life style etc.
